What have I done :D

So first day report (mit photos :D).

Main activity of the day :D:D:D. Yes, you are allowed to laugh.

We have however did some other interesting things, as a bit of sight seeing during the two hours where it was sunny. The house of seashells (that hosts now the public library) and the University, famous for being the second to open in Europe, but also for its sooooooo spanish architecture. This detail you will find in all travelling blogs but, here it goes from my point of view. What's stunning when you walk through souvenir shops in Salamanca are the frogs. Lots and lots of frogs (on t-shirts, on posters, little statues or plush toys). The frogs are grand-grand-grand-sons and daughters and cousins and sisters of ZEE frog, that lies on some skull carved on the front wall of the univeristy. The legend says that it represents the sin of which students should beware. There are also other myths that say that:

-if you TOUCH the frog (that s quite...extreme, seing that its well hidden and 6 meters above the ground) one will pass all exams.

-if one SEES the frog (which is kinda hard) he/she will either:

-have 7 years of great sex (there, J.now you know the remedy if you screw up in Switzerland)

        -have a lucky life

        -pass all their exams

        -get married within a year

Now, I spotted it in like 2 seconds. Now I have to see if the Holy Ghost is free, so we can arrange things :D.

I'll just put the detail of the frog, so I don't ruin your trip.

And theeeen we saw our first procession (how do I always end up in parades) - a traditional spanish thing for Semana Santa. It kicks ass in terms of sobriety, it's mainly a walk of people dressed in robes that cary huge floats representing the ordeal of Jesus. Apparently they get better and better as Easter approaches.
